Taking Care of Your VanDiva Gemstone Jewerly
You have purchased a beautiful VanDiva designer piece of jewelry. Now you wish to take good care of it so it will provide you with a very long period of joyous ownership. Here are a few simple tips that will help you keep your jewelry clean and pretty:
1) If your jewelry contains Sterling and/or Bali silver, keep it in a plastic bag in a dark place when not in use. You can also purchase one of our handmade anti-tarnish jewelry bags to keep your jewelry in. This will prevent your silver to oxidize and prolong tarnishing. If your silver jewelry has already tarnished - no problem! Simply give it a good rub down with a soft, dry silver polishing cloth such as the one we are offering for sale. Your silver jewelry will look as good as new!
2) Your gemstones pick up dust, body oils, makeup, sweat, and other yucky stuff while wearing. They may need a little tender loving care from time to time. You can use warm water and a mild detergent (we recommend a dishwashing detergent) and wipe your gemstones with a soft, damp cloth, but please don't immerse your gemstone jewelry in water. Be careful, some gemstones are dyed and may bleed a little when damp. Lay your jewelry piece on a soft cloth to dry.
